Engineering Design Project: Robot Design Modifications

This will be just a quick story to discuss a simple design modification I have made to my robot in order to have it catch ping pong balls.

Using a combination of duct tape and masking tape, I was able to secure a small bowl to the top of the robot. The images of this new attachment can be seen below:

The bowl will essentially act as a target for the launcher to propel the ping pong balls into. We also had the option to create a stabilizing attachment for the robot, but I decided it was unnecessary for my robot, as it balances perfectly well by itself.

The next story will likely be detail the first full run through the course, with the launcher mechanism installed!
